Early Disco, Soul and Motown influences, instilled a love of upbeat, happy and energetic music into Mister Bibby. During school and then his drunken teen years he began cutting tracks with his cassette and minidisc player, to try and recreate some of those sounds and attempting to mix tracks together. 2 Many DJ's, DJ Yoda, The Cut up Boys and some more obscure, unknown but inspired music discoveries, all made him realise what you can do with popular music and this opened the door to decks, a mixer and the clubbing scene. Beginning in the student led clubs of Bath playing 'mainstream' music, Mister Bibby has slowly behind the scenes explored production, 'mixed in key', and the art of djing with 3 or 4 decks. For those that really know him or who have seen him play in places like Moles, Central Bar or in Bristol know that its the underground and more electronic side of dance music that really gets him going.
