Early Disco, Soul and Motown influences instilled a love of upbeat, happy and energetic music into Mister Bibby. During his teens he began cutting songs with his cassette and minidisc players, to try and recreate and mix tracks together. A need for decks, a mixer and the clubbing scene quickly got Mister Bibby his first gig and he hasn't looked back since. Beginning in the student led clubs of Bath playing 'mainstream' music, Mister Bibby has slowly behind the scenes explored production, the underground scene, blogging and promotion. He has played in London, Bristol, Brighton and Oxford and there are only a few places in Bath that Mister Bibby hasn't played, Previous Club Nights: Club XL (Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays), Northern Monkey @ The Wier Lounge (Mondays/Thursdays), Delfter Krug/Raw (Fridays/Saturdays) Flirt @ Bath Spa SU (Wednesdays), Sex on the Beat @ Second Bridge (every other Thursday), Central Bar (Saturdays) Celsius Ice Bar (Tuesdays/Saturdays) Parade Bar (Saturdays), E11evns (Friday), Club Vibe (Fridays), Moles/Porter Bar/Moles Cafe (Tuesdays/Fridays/Saturdays) Mister Bibby is always looking at new projects and gigs but is currently a resident DJ/Promoter for The Bomb @ Second Bridge (Thursdays) and Central Bar every Saturday.
